Kingston's therapy notes show he brought two written materials to his 5th session: an obituary for David and a postcard. Week 4's notes show Kingston planned on bringing one written material related to David and one related to Nolan to his next session. The obituary was for David, so we can assume the postcard is related to Nolan. The postcard references "our birthday" and hiding things "around base" (we can assume a military base.) In session 3, Kingston tells Summer a story about his "shared birthday" with Nolan on base. Kingston thinks the postcard from "Slice" is from Nolan (i.e., Kingston thinks "Slice" is Nolan.)

Hint for the second question (what city "Slice" was living in when Summer was killed):

To figure out what city "Slice" was living in when Summer was killed, check the postcard's return address. This city (Havenwood) is NOT where "Slice" was living in when Summer was killed, but it tells you where "Slice" was in 2015 (when "Slice" sent the postcard).

Examine the website listed on Summer's ID carefully (www.stillrockpsychiatry.com).

Examine the business card carefully. Look for a connection between the postcard, the business card, and information on Still Rock's website (www.stillrockpsychiatry.com).

Answer to the second question (what city "Slice" was living in when Summer was killed):

The postcard was sent in March of 2015 from 466 Oak Street, Havenwood, California. The business card shows the address of Countryside Mind and Wellness Center is 466 Oak Street, Havenwood, California. According to Ezra's bio on the Still Rock website, Ezra was the only person working at Countryside Mind and Wellness Center during that time, so Ezra must have sent the postcard. Ezra is "Slice," so "Slice" was living in Seattle when Summer was killed.

Hint for the third question (what city was "Slice" born in):

To figure out what city "Slice" was born in, you need to find another website. Examine the SPP 2019 Workshop flyer carefully.

There is a website listed on the SPP 2019 Workshop flyer (www.sppworkshop.com). On the website, there's a interview with a psychiatrist named Dr. Ross McPherson who mentions his son's interest in glow in the dark duck figurines — this is important.

We know that Ezra went by the name "Nolan McPherson" when he served in the military. Ezra sent the postcard from "Slice" (see Hint #4), but Kingston knew "Slice" as Nolan McPherson (see Hint #1), his friend from the military.

In his interview, Dr. McPherson says his son kept a glow in the dark duck figurine. A glow in the dark duck figurine was found in Ezra's office (included in the Part 6 evidence bag).

From this, we can infer that Dr. McPherson is Ezra's father. Ezra used to go by the name Nolan McPherson, and he has a glow in the dark duck figurine (like Dr. McPherson's son).

To figure out what city "Slice" was born in, read Dr. McPherson's interview carefully.

In his interview, Dr. McPherson says he raised his family in Fredericksburg. Dr. McPherson is Ezra's father (Hint #6), and Ezra is "Slice" (Hint #4), so "Slice" was born in Fredericksburg.

Kingston served in the military with Nolan McPherson, who went by the nickname "Slice". Kingston received a postcard from "Slice" that referenced things only Nolan knew. Yet, we know Ezra sent this postcard. So, who is Slice — Nolan or Ezra?
