In Summer's blog post "Disaster at the office", Summer notes that she baked brownies for Luna's birthday and Luna accused her of intentionally putting peanuts in the brownies (knowing that Luna is allergic). (1 point for noticing this and connecting it to Luna's animosity towards Summer)

Other evidence shows that Luna was convinced that Summer did this on purpose. In the "Digital Extraction of Luna Brooks' Computer", Luna notes "follow up w/ HR re: peanut incident — also consider hiring my own attorney". (1 point for noticing this). This shows that Luna was taking this alleged poisoning (by Summer) very seriously. In Luna's witness statement, she writes that "Summer got caught doing some shady stuff, like trying to poison someone who's allergic to peanuts."

This shows that Luna was definitely aware that Summer was seeing Medina on Saturdays and was planning on exposing Summer (1 point)

Also, quillmaster8 mentions wanting to help others in the mental health field but being unwilling to go back to school for four years (he says he tried to become a doctor but failed). Ezra achieved quillmaster8's goal — as a psychiatrist, he helps others in the mental health field, but he didn't have to go back to school (because he isn't a real doctor). Did you make the connection between quillmaster8's goals and what Ezra ended up doing? (1 point)

Ezra likely made the suggestion (1 point).

The "New Policy" email was sent out shortly after the case conference. During the case conference, Ezra discovered that Summer's new patient was Ethan Barrett. To avoid running into Ethan at Still Rock, Ezra would likely want to know when Ethan's sessions were and either book time off or leave the office at those times. (1 point if you hypothesized that Ezra made this suggestion to avoid running into Ethan). Messages Ezra sent on the dating app corroborate this hypothesis. He sent messages (in which he indicated he was not at work) during one of Summer and Ethan's appointments.

The article is an interview with a fighter named Alex Romero. The article mentions Alex lost a recent fight. This is the same fight that Jessica bet $25,000 on (see Reggie's Casino Receipt) (1 point for making the connection to Jessica's bet) This is significant because Jessica was being blackmailed because of a debt she owes. We can hypothesize that she owes this debt because of this large bet she lost (1 point for making the connection between Jessica's debt and her losing a huge bet).

The text message shows Ezra asking Luna to take down his photo from the Still Rock website. This is consistent with Ezra hiding something (like being a fraud/having a new identity you're trying to keep hidden).( 1 point)

The patient complaint form shows a patient lodged a complaint against Ezra, alleging that Ezra made serious medical mistakes. This complaint is consistent with Ezra being a fraud, and thus lacking medical expertise. (2 points)

Additionally, in the "Digital Extraction of Luna Brooks' Computer", Luna notes "Speak w/ E about new patient complaint (not Johanna Taylor — another patient) - should we hire a lawyer?" 1 point if you noticed this and connected it to Ezra being a fraud.

It's significant because Summer mentions that Ezra leaves early during the fireworks. This is consistent with Ezra having PTSD (although it obviously does not prove he has PTSD, it's one small piece of evidence that is consistent with him being Nolan McPherson). (1 point for making the connection between Ezra leaving early due to fireworks and potential PTSD)

Additionally, Ethan Barrett describes witnessing an explosion with Nolan McPherson that was very distressing. Because of the explosion, Ethan has PTSD and is seeing Summer to treat it. Nolan McPherson is Ezra. If Ethan has PTSD from witnessing the explosion, it's very possible Ezra would have PTSD too. Did you make the connection between Ethan's PTSD (from an incident where Ezra is present) and Ezra possibly having PTSD? (1 point)

Additionally, quillmaster8 (who has many connections to Ezra – see previous bonus questions) makes a post on a PTSD forum and mentions struggling with PTSD. Did you make a connection between Ezra having PTSD and quillmaster8's post about PTSD? (1 point)

The sticker is significant because it shows that Dante was likely stalking Summer at her high school reunion (1 point).

Summer mentions in her blog post titled 'Reunion' that she felt like someone was watching her. That person was probably Dante. (1 point)

The cat pin is Summer's (1 point). 

We know this because Summer volunteered for Cat's Cradle. On the Still Rock Website, if you navigate to the 'Blog' page, there is an interview with Summer. In this interview, Summer mentions volunteering with Cat's Cradle. (1 point for noticing that Summer volunteered for Cat's Cradle).

The cat pin is significant because it was likely stolen from Summer's house on February 7th, 2019 (See the "Suspected Burglary Report"). (1 point for figuring out the pin was stolen from Summer's house) The Suspected Burglary Report mentions that Summer's jewelry cabinet looked like it had been rifled through; and in Summer's blog post titled 'Ouch' (posted on March 3rd, 2019 — about a month after the suspected burglary), she mentions that her 'Volunteer pin' has been missing for about a month (1 point for noticing that Summer said her "Volunteer pin" was missing in her blog post and connecting this to the suspected burglary.)

In Summer's blog post titled "It happened again", she writes: "When I got into work this morning, I had a "surprise" waiting for me on my desk." At the end of the post she mentions putting the blue envelope in her drawer. The cat's cradle pin was found in the blue envelope, so it (along with the note she found in the blue envelope) was the "surprise" she had waiting at her desk. (1 point for connecting the envelope/pin to this blog post).

The security camera evidence showed that Medina likely lied about the windows in Summer's office being open (1 point).

The security camera evidence shows that at 10:26AM, the windows in Summer's office were closed. At 10:25AM, Medina was in Summer's office, calling 911. In her witness statement, Medina says she heard a scream and saw the windows (in Summer's office) were open. The windows were not open when she got to Summer's office. They were closed. (1 point for noticing that the security camera evidence conflicts with Medina's witness statement)

When officers arrive at Summer's office, the windows are open (see the Crime Scene Report). We can infer that Medina opened the windows (1 point for noticing that the windows were open when police arrive which conflicts with the security camera evidence).

Medina lied about the windows because she needed a reason/excuse for why she was in Summer's office (2 points for figuring out why Medina lied). She told police she didn't know Summer (which was a lie), so needed to explain how she came across Summer's body accidentally. So she came up with a story (the windows were open, she heard a scream), then opened the windows in Summer's office to match her story.

In the "Officer Notes" notebook, two witnesses are interviewed. Both say they didn't hear anything (any screams). (1 point for noticing this). This corroborates the fact that Medina lied about hearing Summer's screams through an open window. Either there was no screaming, or there was screaming, but the windows blocked the sound. Either way, Medina lied about hearing Summer scream because the windows were open.

The pink sparkly bag was Luna's. In it, there was a spell (Siren's Revenge) to cast against your enemies. Luna was doing the spell on Summer (there was a picture of Summer in the bag, and the spell called for a picture of the person you're seeking revenge on). The spell also called for a "physical reminder" of the suffering the person (you're casting the spell on) caused you. Luna's "physical reminder" was a prom ticket (1 point for realizing the ticket was the "physical reminder" mentioned in the spell). 

The prom ticket says "Prom? -Tiger xoxo". We can infer that "Tiger" gave the ticket to someone and invited them to prom. We know Tiger is Luna's nickname for Harrison (when they dated in high school). Harrison invited Luna to prom in 2002 (the prom ticket has a date on it). (2 point for realizing Harrison invited Luna to prom).

In the yearbook, though, we see that Summer and Harrison went to prom together in 2002 (1 point for noticing this). 

We can infer that perhaps Harrison invited Luna to prom but then broke up with her and took Summer instead. This might have been what set off Luna's grudge against Summer. (1 point for hypothesizing this or something along these lines)

He was probably at a divorce lawyer (2 points). In the basketball bag, there's a retainer for a divorce lawyer that indicates Harrison visited the lawyer on that day. We can't be sure of the time, but it makes sense that if Harrison was visiting a divorce lawyer on the morning his wife is found dead, he'd lie about that.

Ezra's dating app profile includes a picture of his dog, a Jack Russell terrier. The dog on the bag is a Jack Russell terrier (note: You don't need to know what kind of dog is on the bag or in the pictures to get this question right - you just need to have identified that the dog on the bag looks similiar to Ezra's dog).

On the computer desktop screenshot (from Part 1 - Luna's computer), Luna notes that Ezra has not been participating in Still Rocks group insurance and "going solo" instead. Doctors need medical insurance. Of course, if you're not a licensed doctor you don't need medical insurance. Ezra is not on Still Rock's group insurance, because if he applied for it, they would find out he doesn't have a license.

Note that this does not prove that Ezra does not have a medical license, but it is consistent with it.

(2 points if you noticed this and connected it at some point to Ezra potentially being a fraud — It's OK if it didn't come to mind immediately when you looked at this question).

"Aloha" is Nolan McPherson. In Ethan's therapy notes, he mentions in week three that he and Nolan had a shared birthday party (during their military service) where they served their favourite foods ("lasagna, hawaiian pizza"). Ethan tells Summer that in the military they called each other by their favourite foods as nicknames. In Aloha's postcard, they reference a shared birthday with Ethan. Ethan mentions that this postcard was the last correspondence they received from a military friend and described feelings of abandonment over it. In Ethan's first session, he says he has significant distress around his relationship with Nolan. We can deduce that Ethan's distress is because Nolan (aka "Aloha") stopped corresponding with Ethan. From all this information, we can infer that Aloha is Nolan McPherson. We can infer that Aloha is Nolan's nickname because his favourite food is Hawaiian pizza (1 point for realizing that "Aloha" was a nickname for Nolan that referenced his favorite food - Hawaiian pizza)

We can connect this to Ezra because there are lots of references to Ezra's favourite food also being pizza. For example, on Ezra's dating profile, he mentions that "pineapples belong on pizza" (1 point). Ezra also mentions on the Still Rock website that his favourite food is pizza (1 point). Also, on the dating app Ezra suggest going to "Giovannis" (a pizza place) when talking to Marisa.

Note: Another similarity is that the handwriting on the postcard matches Ezra's handwriting. But there's no points for this because it covered in a previous bonus question (threatening note question).

The murder weapon is a trophy. We know this because the Forensic Analysis Report lists items that had Summer's DNA and blood on them. Multiple items are listed, but only one: a) had blood on it; b) had Summer's DNA on it; c) was capable of producing blunt force trauma. That one item was a trophy. (For more details on the murder weapon, see checkpoint #1 from Part 2).

The trophy had "2018 Alehouse Idol Winner" inscribed on it. In the Seattle Times Magazine, there's an ad for O'Malley's annual karaoke Alehouse Idol competition (1 point for making the connection between the inscription and the O'Malley's ad). In Summer's blog, she mentions being crowned O'Malley's best karaoke singer of 2018 (1 point for noticing this and connecting it to the trophy/murder weapon). From this, we can infer that Summer won the 2018 Alehouse Idol, and the murder weapon was a trophy she won/owned. (1 point for inferring that the murder weapon was Summer's trophy).

People usually store their trophies at home or work. Ezra (Summer's killer) either acquired the trophy from Summer's home or office. Summer's office is most likely because:

• Ezra planned Summer's murder in advance. Ezra was planning to kill Summer in her office, so we can assume he would have also planned how he was going to kill her/what weapon he'd use.
• Ezra knew what was in Summer's office because he worked with her. He likely knew Summer had a trophy in her office and planned to kill her with that (or with some other item from her office).
• By using one of Summer's possessions (from her office) as the murder weapon, Ezra lessened his chances of getting caught because: 1) he didn't have to carry a weapon with him to Still Rock that morning (the morning he killed Summer); and 2) he wouldn't be linked to the weapon (because there would be no receipt for him having purchased it etc.).
• Taking the trophy from Summer's house would be risky. If Ezra broke in to Summer's house, he could get caught. If he took the trophy while he was visiting Summer, she might notice and tell someone (or maybe Harrison would notice). Using something from Summer's house as the murder weapon is risky, and we know Ezra planned Summer's murder meticulously to minimize risks.
• There is no evidence Ezra broke into Summer's house.

1 point if you said Ezra acquired the trophy from Summer's house. 2 points if you said Ezra acquired it from Summer's office.

On the "Digital Extraction of Luna Brooks' Computer" (dated Wednesday, September 4th, 2019), Luna notes that someone named "Andrea Trent" called in and booked an appointment for next Saturday (September 14th) and was "very insistent" on seeing Summer before Monday. Luna notes that she needs to make sure the intake forms are in the office for next Saturday, indicating that Andrea has not already filled out intake information.

Summer's patient schedule shows Andrea Trent was booked for an appointment from 9-10AM on September 14th. Damien Maiden (aka Medina) was booked afterwards, from 10:30-12PM. We know that Summer died at approximately 9:15AM — during "Andrea's" appointment. We also know that Medina found Summer (after Andrea's supposed appointment.)

Did you hypothesize that Ezra called and booked an appointment for "Andrea Trent" for September 14th, 2019, with the plan to murder Summer at that time? (3 points)

Did you make the connection between Andrea's insistence on having the appointment before Monday and the fact that Ezra needed to kill Summer before Monday (to prevent her from having the therapy session with Ethan on Monday that likely would have blown Ezra's cover)? (1 point)

The "it" the letter refers to is the blue envelope Jessica leaves in Summer's offce (1 point for realizing the "it" in the letter was referring to the blue envelope).

The date of the letter

The letter is dated August 19th, 2019. "Friday" would be August 23rd, 2019. On August 26th, 2019, Summer blogs (post is titled "It happened again") that she found a "surprise" waiting on her desk in a blue envelope that morning. August 26th, 2019 is the Monday following Jessica's deadline (Friday August 23rd). (1 point for noticing these dates and making these connections).

We can infer that Jessica did not pay by Friday and ended up leaving "it" (the blue envelope) in "plain sight" (on Summer's desk) over the weekend or on Monday.

Connection to other evidence

The letter is connected to the jail letter that Dante sent Luka (1 point). Dante writes in the letter "any successing in cracking J?" Dante is referring to whether Luka has managed to coerce Jessica into helping them harass Summer. Luka ends up "cracking J" by blackmailing her.
